Oppo unveils Realme V60 and Realme V60s
OPPO has launched its latest V series smartphones, the Realme V60 and Realme V60s. Both phones meet the requirements of users wishing to use 5G networks, and offer basic specifications at an affordable price.
The names are separate, although the Realme V60 and Realme V60s models are largely identical in terms of design and hardware.
OPPO provided the two phones with a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the screen can reach a peak brightness of 625 nits per square meter.
Oppo states that the screen can also be dimmed with a brightness of up to 1 cd/m2, which is useful for night use.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset handles the processing duties. The octa-core chipset features two Cortex-A76 cores operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz for performance tasks, along with 6 Cortex-A55 cores operating at a frequency of 2.0 GHz for daily operations.
The chipset is coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The two phones also support expanding the virtual RAM up to 8 GB.
The two phones operate with the custom Realme UI 5.0 user interface based on the Android 14 operating system, and the two devices derive power from a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh that supports 10-watt charging.
The back contains a camera module with four holes, although it contains a 32-megapixel main sensor, a depth sensor, and an LED flash.
The back maintains a clean look with Oppo’s Realme logo engraved on the bottom.
The front has an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies. The overall design is decent for the price range, with simple bezels framing the screen.
The Realme V60 phone comes at a price of $175 for the 6GB + 128GB version, and $205 for the 8GB + 256GB version.
On the other hand, the Realme V60s phone comes at a price of $205 for the 6GB + 128GB version, and $265 for the 8GB + 256GB version.
The two phones have the same specifications, although their prices differ for some reason that Oppo did not explain.
